Asharqia Chamber presents you with its best greetings, and would like to inform you of receiving the letter of the Council of Saudi Chambers (L / T / 830) dated 6/4 / 1440, which referred to the letter of Saudi Food and Drug Authority No. (2616 / p) dated (4/4/1440), which includes the keenness of the SFDA to monitor the food products that are produced, imported and marketed within the Kingdom in order to complement the Authority's efforts to prevent the use of trans fats in food products that in line with the recommendations of the World Health Organization (WHO) that aimed at preventing the use of partially hydrogenated oils in the food industry and to avoid the consumption of food products containing high amounts of trans fats that may cause health problems.
